Darren is the Chief Growth Officer for Illuminet Solutions where he leads the sales and marketing teams and is responsible for taking Products and Services to the market. Prior to joining Illuminet, Darren headed up the Central Government and Justice sector for Capita Consulting and specialised in advising on Automation, AI and Data technologies. 

Darren was Global Head of Vodafone’s Business Consulting team for four years where he worked on digital and mobile workforce strategy, IOT and Innovation.

He spent two years building a boutique consultancy focussed on Robotic Process Automation, developing client strategies and implementing RPA with several large organisations.

Darren spent several years as a lead consultant in the telecommunication sector acting as senior and interim leadership on multiple large product and transformation programmes for various UK and German clients. Headed up a project for the largest UK Examination board with dependence on Ministry of Educations approvals.

Darren was one of the founding employees for what is now O2 Germany, joining as the 3rd employee and being part of the senior management team that launched the network and grew to 4,000 staff over 3 years.

His international experience has been a feature of his career, and whilst in various management roles in American Express, lived in Asia, Germany and travelled extensively, building new markets and partnerships for Amex Card services.
