Professional Experience

​Simon is the Chief Executive Officer for the Light Aircraft Association . He is directly accountable to the Civil Aviation Authority and the Department for Trade for the continued airworthiness of 3000 light aircraft in the UK. As part of this role, he also active on a number of keyboards as a Non-Executive Director.

Prior to this Simon has run his own company providing business transformation services predominantly in the tech sector including Unit4, a major ERP Software provider where he designed and implemented a global Customer success operation.

He also has deep experience of running major divisions of large companies including Sony Phillips and Sitel.

Simon spent a number of years transforming Dell’s Consumer services organization throughout Europe including the establishment of large-scale contact centres in India, the Philippines, and North Africa.

He is a global player and has worked numerous counties across Americas, Europe, The Middle East, India, and Japan.

His key skills include the ability to spot opportunities to make step function improvements then make them happen. He is also an insightful leader and coach who has helped many leaders to realize their potential.

As a Non-Executive Director, he adds value by gently challenging the status quo, collaborating with board members to define strategic goals and objectives and supporting executives through the change cycle. He also has a good understanding of corporate governance and the roles and responsibilities of both corporate and not for profit boards.
